How sensitive is PSM?
It's a pretty sensitive system, especially on tires that aren't very sticky. +1 on checking the rolling diameter of those wheels, if those aren't close to spec the system gets even more sensitive.
I have had it come on at the Tremblant rack track on a high speed left sweeper and only noticed the light flash, nothing else. If I was losing traction, I didn't notice ... I was 80% down on the throttle in the sweeper.
This was on hoosier R6 tires that were reasonably warm

Haven't any of you guys felt the brake pedal resist if you come into a corner too hot and try to brake while turning? Scarier than during acceleration out of a turn.
1q2w3e4r, great track you get to drive. Looks like a long way down if you blow it in the multiple S's.

For about 2 weeks I had different brand tires front/rear (old Michelin front, new Toyo rear). PSM came on a LOT! (even though I did not feel the car slipping). When I switched the fronts to Toyos, no more PSM, even at the track. The Michelin fronts were the same size as the Toyos, but there must have been a slight difference in the diameter
My gut says it's a lotof little things, my driving, the suspension, the tire/tread, and now the wheel diameter. At some point I am going to find a way open parking lot I can slide around in w/ and w/out the PSM on.

I won’t be doing it any time soon for sure, I will wait till I am ready to buy tires first then get permission from the property owner.
