Dropping my car off at TPC Racing next week..
Good work. That car at 1 bar solid Should make 600 rwhp. Lol remember why I told you

Be careful with the torque, as we all know that can be some of cause of our motors short demise. I made 868rwhp but ONLY 72Xrwtq. We could have put a LOT more back in it, but longevity is the key!
Yup it will twist rods like a pretzel.
Apples and oranges, Mark. Apples and oranges...
Torque was 523.

Exactly. Neither myself, or TPC want too much torque.
Exactly!! The only advantage of the bigger turbos and some lag is that when you do see peak torque it is a lot higher in the RPM range so when the motor is at the highest point of cylinder pressure it's not a low RPM.
If I had the air filters removed, rear bumper cover removed, Sunoco 104 octane in the tank and a crapload of timing...you'd probably be correct. But my car still has the air filters and rear bumper cover still on, and is running 93 octane from a 7-Eleven gas pump.

I don't think thats a lot... but hey, each tuner/shop has their ways....
I know with Wgs only the car runs .83 to .88 boost and peaks .93 when you let off... with the new ICs your car probably is picking up another .05 bar...
all in all I think its on the money....

Well your just about there as is... as far as timing... the car runs only 18 to 20 degrees at full load... not just yours I mean... I know the numbers though....

The important thing is that Todd K. feels the car that *he built* is significantly more powerful now than it ever was. My ICs were really holding me back.
If I removed the air filters, I'd be at 600 on 93 at the current boost level....with 5 degrees less timing and 11 points lower octane!

Hear me out here..
I could change the oil then lean the car out and say I just made 20rwhp over the stock oil by switching brands. To really tell what the coolers are doing for you you'll have to post the final numbers VS the Dual stockers at the same AFR.
Again not trying to call you out, but this would be helpful when others aren't netting the same gains as you are down the road.
Here's my thoughts, and not to take away from this thread and the gains that have been made, but shouldn't we compare apples to apples?

Since you quoted Mark, I'm not sure if this post is directed at me or not...but if so, I refer you to post #101 in this thread, where I wrote:

Sure, I could pay to have more fuel sent up and have them dyno the car at all boost levels, but I was limited in the amount of fuel I could bring with me when I dropped the car off...and honestly I'm not concerned with the before and after results at mid and high boost. I know that if it makes power down low, it will make more power up top. I will also verify this with 60-130 runs.
Keep in mind that my initial reason for creating this thread was not to document every possible variable of the IC swap. I just decided to drop my car off at their shop to get some work done and figured you guys would like to hear about the results...even if those results only show part of the picture.

However, I do believe when all is said and done and my maximum HP numbers are posted, these ICs will sell themselves.

The bottom line is that I'm not trying to sell these ICs to anyone on here, nor am I specifically attempting to test parts to absolute perfection to satisfy everyone on the forum.

And if you feel happy with the numbers under those conditions then that's all that matters. Congrats on the HUGE gains bud!
Yes they will come in very handy when you turn up the boost on on that bad boy.
