It depends, do you want to sell it or field calls about selling it? More importantly, how quickly do you want to sell it.
IMHO, you'd be fortunate to get $40k. GLWS

I'd pay $47k for it provided the is mechanically sound, paint and interior are in good shape and the car has complete service records. Let me know if you do decide to sell the car, I'll be ready to buy around mid April, if not earlier than that.
Lemme guess, you're trying to find one to buy?

How'd you guess?
It's really an interesting dynamic. Current owners think their cars are worth what they paid for them and buyers are in the catbird seat.
I'm frustrated with my search though. I feel I have missed out on three cars and wonder if there is another of similar value.
2003 Arctic Silver, 39k miles, stock, serviced for $42k
2001 Seal Gray, 22k miles, mild mods - nothing in the engine, for $42k
2002 Seal Gray, 16k miles, stock with 19" Champions, for 40k
The search continues. I'd offer this. I am ready to buy, if you're ready to sell maybe we can work something out. The three cars above I've passed on, regrettably. Countless others I have at least considered and dismissed.
Lots of cars, fewer buyers. I'm looking forward to thinking my car is worth more than it is.
I took my three sons (8, 6, 3) for a test drive this weekend in an '01 Black Turbo. They were prodding me to buy it, the youngest was devastated when I didn't. The wife is playing indifferent.

Seems you drove a car a little newer with slightly fewer miles at about the $40K mark. Except this one has turbos, a tune, exhaust, and coil overs. He'll get more than $40K I think. Might find some good price ideas by looking at the thread that talks about what people have recently paid for their cars...
I think the days of desperation are over for sellers and the market is stabilizing. You car is a very good color (one of my favs) combination and you have great mods. I would think realistically right around $50K considering the mileage, condition, color combo and mods. Best of luck to you.
Many thanks Gentleman and incidentally within this tread we've displayed a similar price 'spread' that prompted me to post initially.
At the end of the day it's worth what a serious buyer is willing to pay however an asking price that generates the calls that lead to this fortunate soul the key.
I have know illusions of grand value & not thrilled with the song and dance of taking calls but preferable to the trade-in squeeze.
Cheers,
J
