5th trip to the shop in 3 months...

After 15 years of great luck with cars, the last year has been terrible. Now my Turbo is back in the shop for the 5th time in 3 months.

List of problems:
Coolant sensor said low coolant but coolant fine - leaking O-ring on the oil cooler
Stereo not working - after several visits to the dealer, turned out to need a new head unit
And this morning - pulled the car out of the garage and found a huge oil puddle under the center rear

Once out in the driveway, was still dripping slowly and seemed to be on the passenger side more. I'm betting an intermediate shaft seal, but maybe they didn't do something right on the last repair and that's leaking now. Or who knows. Thankfully I have another car to drive but the weather here is nice for once (rough winter!) and I could be driving the 911 every day. Argh!

I never thought the problem could be this simple or I would've just checked it before I had it towed. The dealer offered to change the oil when it was in the shop last, and with 3 other cars I'm working on right now, I said sure to the $200 and just let them do something. Well, they didn't tighten the drain plug to spec and it was coming out. I'm glad I didn't drive it any further and have the whole plug and all my oil drain out! They returned the car this afternoon with a full tank of gas (it was in empty) and washed and cleaned inside. I could be more upset but honestly I'm just happy nothing was really wrong.

I've had almost a year-long run of bad luck!

Thanks for the rep, I've only gotten negatives from criticizing people that end up getting banned anyway.
