Okay Im confused 250lbs lighter and still the same 60-130
I decided to reduce my cars weight by removing the tools, light weight battery, removing all seats besides driver seat, removing carpet in the rear, and spare tire. I still am getting the 7.7 60-130.
How could that be?

Hi Vince!
Could you itemize how you got 250lbs. Iam figuring more like 155-165lbs but I may be missing something. I would predict about 7.5s based on file you sent me two weeks ago. If you really pulled 250lbs off you might get as low as 7.3 or so. However, if its alot warmer today you could easily loose all your weight improvements on lost hp due to atmospheric conditions.
Could you tell us the approx temp, baro pressure, and humidity for the most recent run and the run you sent me. Also, if not too much trouble send me the new run and let me compare to your other run.

Oddessey battery 15.5lbs vs interstate battery 62lbs=46.5lbs
Porsche leather seats with motorized seats and lumber support about 65lbs
Tool kit and spare 39.2lbs
rear seats 22.1lbs
Exhaust straight pipes 15lbs vs Stock exhaust=57.8=42.8
rear carpet removal about 40lbs
Total weight =255.6lbs
todays temps was about 46-44f when I di the run. not sure about the baro or humidity levels.
It almost feels like my transmission is not getting the power to the ground.

I think you did your 7.81s run in 30 degree temp. So temp alone would cost you 2.3% so your net gain is about 4.7%. That should have landed you in 7.5x territory. Fuel level may also be adversely affecting your performance. I assume 25 lbs for every quarter of a tank. Was your fuel level higher today than on your prior run?
Of course if your tip is shifting poorly that could hurt your time. I know VRTX has had runs ruined by poor tip shifts. I should be able to see that if you send me the run.

I will have to download that onto my friends computer tomorrow, i dont have a SD card slot on this laptop for some strange reason. I only had 1/4 tank of gas on both dates. I also notice I cant start at 2nd gear because the car has no traction.
I noticed that my driveshaft is tearing, could it be that it is effecting it? Its weird but no matter what I do it almost seems like the car puts out the same times. The car feels lighter and more nimble but maybe its a placebo effect.
The rear carpet is not 40 lbs.
You should always weigh the car to confirm.
Are you testing on the exact same patch of road? Same incline/decline?
Always check your boost levels..... Are you boosting the same? I lost 10 mph at the strip with 150 less lbs because of a broken hose clamp on the main Y pipe. Was only boosting .5 bar.

Same road, boosting 1.3-1.4bar so that is solid. The carpet im talking about was not just the carpet but also the ECU covering with the foam stuff with the carpet. I will weigh it again tomorrow to confirm.
Are you AWD or RWD?
If the tires are spinning like crazy in second gear on an AWD car then its making excellent power.
Still not 40 lbs. Probably not even 20 lbs. The ECU covering pad is only a few lbs, maybe 4-5 lbs. The biggest weight in carpet is the front main pad that goes all the way to the bottom of the back seats, and it's not even 40 lbs in it's entirety.
It's probably 60 lbs total in carpet in the car. 40 of that is not the back seat.
