Exclamation Raising the boost

I wonder if i can raise the boost on my 996 tt above 1.3 on RF ?
Do i need the secondary fuel pump ?
Do i need big injectors ? (i'm using stock injectors with 5bar fpr)
Do i need another than the oem air intake system ?
What is the must ?

-I have 996 tt k24/18g - 5bar fpr - Greddy profic b spec 2

Iam aware of 18g tunes at 1.5 bar for 100+ octane. I doubt you would need a secondary fuel pump but you might need bigger injectors or other supporting mods like ICs or intake piping to pass blockages to allow you to safely reach 1.5 bar. You should talk to your tuner, he might want you to datalog the car for a few runs to answer your question.

You can if your running at least 104 octane... but the car will def. lean out at 6500 rpms no matter what fuel you use... so the trick is to short shift and don't stay in the higher rpms... I would not go past 1.4 anyways...
If you do injectors that will only help marginally... your tuner should guide you... we do not all use the same hardware.... thus we do the intake, maf, 2nd pump and injectors.... others just do injectors for example...
instead of beating yourself up over this take advantage of the K24 and turn them into a 20g... do the intake, ICs, pump and injectors then you will see some real gains... otherwise your just playing with fire...
good luck
markski
