You Guys Suck!
Just Kidding!
But I must say that within 8 hours of posting my car on Rennlist I've had 2 serious phone inquiries.
48 hours after posting the car on 6speed all I have is a hijacked thread about crappy houses

Yeah, I might post on Rennlist classifieds.
I get a lot of Good luck, but havn't had ANY bites. That just amazes me that the number one Porsche Board can't even find a home for my car at $115K ONLY. Still in shock no one is biting. The Economy either still sucks or my car sucks!

fred, I think that it will take a special buyer to part with $115K for a preowned Turbo, even if it does have a gazillion dollars in aftermarket accessories.
The problem is that our cars are flooding the market and it's driving prices down almost on a daily basis.

Fred, a Swedish forum with 7000 daily visitors is hotlinking to your car.

Fred, your car is great, I would love to have a Turbo like it. But you must realize that if someone has the means to buy a Turbo, they will probably have the means to modify it to their liking. Your car has a lot of mods, but maybe what buyers want is to start fresh. Anyway, I hope you can sell your car soon. Good Luck. Your house looks great by the way. As much as I love cars, I would pic a house too.

At $115,000.00 you are selling your car @ a fire sale price.
My guess is there may be less than ten people in the world who want a car like yours and have the means to afford a car like yours. You find the right person and you car would be worth alot more than you are asking. Back to the $115,000. sales price, alot more people can afford the $115,000. They simply can't afford the up keep.
Bottom line (my two cents), find the correct advertising media.

it's just going to be super tough to get anyone to pay 115 for a turbo eventhough we all know it is one awesome turbo. at 115 you can get a nice 360 modena and for just a few more g's a nice GT2. or you can save 20g's and get a GT3 if it's track work you really want.
i must say it's stil tempting for me at 115 just because it's always been my favorite TT. I personally just couldn't justify spending that much on a TT, eventhough i know it's worth it and I would very much appreciate all the modifications. I don't doubt it can sell for that, but it may take quite a long time to find the right buyer. At 100-105 it would be gone in a second.

Fred can find the right buyer. Less than nine months ago I turned down $227,000.00 for Killer Angel. The buyer has gone on to duplicating KA and he will have over that amount involved with car and mods when Protomotive is finished.
If Fred held out and found the right buyer, the car would sell for over $175,000.00. Look what these type of cars go for when Auto Salon Singen in Germany gets their hands on them.
Anyone who knows Fred knows he is a perfectionist to the point of being a pain in the rear. Yeah the truth does hurt.
However, they would be buying a car that has really been pampered with no shortcuts taken.

i do not think he could get 175 but i have no doubt the 115-120 is attainable. As someone who has sold a few heavily modified and/or strange vehicles i know the biggest two factors are
1) luck
2) how patient you can be.
The pool of people who want a car like that badly enough to pay for a major chunk of the mods is so incredibly small. it either takes a lot of luck or a long time waiting to match the buyer and seller
