Cluster Removal DIY

http://www.lotususa.com/Alex/996ColorGuageFaceInstall/

Don't know who put this together and who should get the credit, but this one got to be one of the best step by step cluster removal procedures. I just used it yesterday to remove mine, no problem. You can click the pics to expand it to full page format.

I really doubt that.

I've been thinking about trying this. The procedure seems exactly like applying window tint film so that is easy enough considering the small size. The question I have in my mind is about how to best align everything up so that it looks right when the lighting is turned on.

Got the cluster back yesterday and installed it back onto the car...

Before, OEM dial was bubbling pretty bad

After, Aluminum color dials

This looks great! What product are we looking at - are these new faces or decals over the old one?

I got them from Suncoast a little while back; they are replacement, not overlay the old one.
