Since the purchase of the GT2 it looks like I am going to have to buy race gas for the year.

This will be a first for me since it is my first FI car and I never had the need for race gas.

I am looking to put together a group buy in my area (Twin Cities) and was wanting to get a little education first on prices. I had to pay $725 for a 54 gallon drum when I went to TX2K10 because I missed out on a group buy that was done in Houston.

Please let me know what is a normal price for C16 & MS109. What kind of discount can we get by buying a bunch at one time.

I am trying to figure out how many barrels we will need to buy to get a price break. Does 10 get us X % off? Does 20 get us another % off?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Switzer Performance apparantly has some good prices on VP. You may want to PM Neil and find out if you can get group pricing for an even better deal.

Eric, fyi, VP prices are cheaper in the Central region (Tx) than in the Midwest and Heartland regions....so just order it direct through Tommy's account. I'm sure they'll give you a break with volume. As long as you wait for their route shipping, it's a lot cheaper than special order. I've probably bought 20 drums and over a 100 5 gallon buckets myself over the years. Nick (Midest Rep) asked me if I wanted my own account with them last year
