"spec clutch"
Lots of chatter, slipped a lot. They are just no good for our cars IMO. Lots of other better choices out there that have a good track record for use in our modded TT's.
I have a Spec clutch 2+, it has a non sprung disc with a stock flywheel. One side is ceramic and the other side is a full face tuff compound similar to the clutchmaster one Vivid is talking about.
I had the 3+ but traded it down before install as I wanted a street clutch. NO NOISE what so ever and is easy to drive. I took out the clutch assist spring as well. I have gt28's on the car with no issues. I had Tito at Billett Designs (220mph porsche standing mile) install it for me, great choice for me.

I have driven a handfull of spec clutch cars, stage 2 and 3. All stage 3s had clutch chatter, pedal did not feel that great. Even though none were Porsches, the cars I drove were diff makes including Audi and VW. I would not buy Spec.

I bought my Clutchmasters stg 3 thru Dan at Vivid. Dan told me the fiber tuff is perfect for my set-up (24/18's w/ Protomotive tuning) he knows what he is talking about. The clutch has the exact same feel as stock(engagement & pedal feel),& holds the power (keep in mind I have a GT2 so no slave etc.)
I have LOTS of spec experience, removed all of them less then 5000 miles afer install, chattery, noisey, flywheels poorly (ie: not) balanced.

. I have a clutch kit that uses ALL OEM SRE motorsport parts and it operates 99% like stock. It will hold the power that you are producing.

I had a pucked disc first and it was grabby, changed it to a full disc and was much better.
you had the clutchmasters stg 3 8 puck? or something else?.... im concerned if i go with the stg 3 full face and move up to bigger turbos that it wont hold... does anyone know how much more tq the puck can hold over the full face?







out of my budget unless u want a 2004 turbo motor then i'll ask my boss (wifey)...
