P1109 "Factory fuel metering control"

I just threw that code (in title) this morning. Can anyone tell me what this is, and how to fix it? Also, I read that this is usually a MAF issue, but I just bought a hitachi MAF about 2 months ago, so I doubt itt needs cleaning. IM going to clean it anyway and try that, what would your suggestions be if that doesnt fix it?

thanks

I assume you don't have durametric data, right?

Once you move into modded systems, it gets much harder to trouble shoot- especially with a generic OBD code and no information on the mod status of your car. You have a hitachi maf. Anything else? flash? ......

May be....

Ard is more reliable for troubleshooting a modified car but if your car was not modified here is what to look for...

I had this same code and it ended up being a boost leak

I did. Most the problems discussed in there had to do with a boost leak (don't have) or a MAF (sincerely doubt it's that, as the hitachi is brand new as of 2-3 months ago. I did clean the maf anyway, drove it, no code. But usually with my car a code won't pop back up until the next drive cycle.

OK. So you pressurized your system and no leaks.

Maybe see what your tuner(evoms) says?

All I got for ya!
