i got it installed, very useful and helpful product, only thing is that it has an option for clearing out the DTC's ( ECU fault codes or errors) but it doesn't clear them out, i still have to plug in my laptop and use the Durametric to clear out all the error codes, anyone had any success on using this device to clear out the ECU error/fault codes?

 

clears the ones that have popped up on mine. codes to do with brake system/PSM when swapped to larger ones. but as i understand, some can't be reset, some can.

 

Too bad that the ones that keep popping up with me are the ones that can't be reset by the Brookway, i bought it mainly for this reason.

 

??? My Brookway has cleared every code i have had, and some on friends cars to.
You sure your doing it right? Bit to be an ***, but i am just asking.

 

sometimes even when there is codes it won't show them, it only shows up on my durametric, and if it appears in the brookway it won't clear out, is there a specific way or procedure to clear the codes out with the brookway?
