Nope, the 7:22 was the original ACR with the crap gearing, which is why he was on the rev limiter the whole lap. The ACR-X has much better gearing and I'm pretty sure the new ACR is based on that. But it at the least has better gearing than the first ones.

Here are the "Cars" that beat it... As far as I am concerned, only 1 of those Cars could really be called a road car. The GT2 RS is the closest of the bunch to being a real street Car that can be driven in all weather and to the grocery store.

You as a modded 996 GT2 racer may find this fact pleasant:
Back in 2005, Patrick Simon drove a modded 996 GT2 7.15.6 IN TRAFFIC and the track was more bumpier that time (now there is new asphalt helping in some sections...)
A pic of the car:
(Yes, the car looks like a RSR with reg. plates, but it is very often at the Ring, the current owner drives it a lot there! ...and his daughter has a similar 993...)
