Mine is stock and runs great. No major issues, just a few very minor things. Mainly what you would expect on a car that is just over 76,000 miles.
There is a car on here, an 03 that has well over 250,000 miles on it.
Get a PPI and drive it. Then drive it again. Then go back and drive it again. Then buy it and enjoy the heck out of it. They are Awesome!

Just to clear up my issues. Lights bulbs needing replaced, light scratches on the paint or interior, cup holder needing a little pull or push to work, seat belt is a little slow to retract from time to time, and things like this. My car is a DD and it goes out in the rain, sleet, snow, ice, heat... whatever I have to drive in to get to work or where I want to go.
I have a Tip but the car has no issues other then what I described. I say get the car you want if the car you want checks out w/ a PPI and drives well.

Very close, PPI stands for pre-purchase inspection. A Porsche dealership or a indy shop that has a lot of experience with Porsches, specifically the 996tt, could do it. It's money well spent.
