Scott damn , bro are you having a bad day ? it seems that you have a personal vendetta againt mark or something cuase you always try to slam him.

But ,bobby IS marks biz partner therefor by saying we he means we as in 911 tuning he didnt say I . and its to my understanding from bobby him self , that he brought the 18g setup to todd .

Scott,
Yes Bobby is my partner in 911tuning... thus by saying WE I meant the company not I... furthermore Scott, I am a Protomotive dealer as well which in essence part of the proto family if I can say that... thus when Todd sends me a dyno sometimes of a XXX car with XXX turbos and says "we" even though he did not install it himself... Protosport or prototech did... its all part of "we"...

If you want to discuss this further Ill have Bobby call you and explain it so your 100% sure... and so is the rest of the 6speed family..

Sincerely
mark

As I stated, Bobby and Todd came up with those turbos. Long before you had any sort of a relationship with either of them.

Just like Bobby came up with the turbos that are currently on my car. The ones that you market as "yours". He came up with those long before you guys had a relationship.

My point is, just because Bobby and Todd are now your business partners, doesn't mean you can or should start taking credit for their past accomplishments.

911tuning is doing good things, and putting out a good product. But implying that you came up with the K24/18G is about as accurate as claiming that you are the one that ran the 1/4 mile and 60-130 times in your signature.

I don't know exactly. From what I've been told is that it started as a Third Gen Firebird. I just know if the guy will take $500-1000 for it I am going to buy it. I want to see what my Home Owners says about it when it's parked on jack stands in my front yard!

What is the difference in additional mods that would be recommended to support the 24/20g on top of supporting mods for the 24/18g setup?

I have stock K24s now and am tring to decide between the two upgrades.

the 20's will take a significant amount of extra modification. The switch from 18's to 20's cost me approximately 6k in hardware.

You really need to look into the billet K16's. 600whp on pump gas is no joke.

ICs, 60 lbs, free flowing exhaust at a minimum... if you want to keep the stock airbox then I strongly suggest aftermarket piping from the airbox to the turbos... otherwise car will be laggy.... we have some good options and kits available...

The right way to do it is to do it without custom maf and all hard piping including the custom intake above filters, 4.5" ICs, 60 lbs injectors and 2nd inline pump kit..
here are some pics..

Do the billet K16's have to spin faster then the 24/18g and produce more heat then?

I'd like to get the same power without he additional stress if possible. Don't really need the low down torque as I don't drag the car and the upper end is where I really want it.

There is no way of getting around the bottlenecks... no K16 or K24 magic turbos will give you 600whp if you do not address the issues... like the stock hoses meeting at the stock ICs that reduces to 1.8"ID... the stock ICs are worthless... going to 2.5" OR hard piping or other and having an effective way of introducing more volume of air is crucial at these levels.. stock airbox with the stock intake that drops to the turbos is super restrictive...
In my opinion, you need to do the plumbing be it a k16 billet or a k24/20g etc... Oh the fueling is an issue too...
there is no magic way of cutting corners...

DREAMTRIPPER, i did the K24 conversion to K24/18g's with Markski the difference is amazing. My son told me that the car goes so fast that it seem Playstation. You see the trees past by so fast.I am realy happy with the work and thinking to go to K24/20g's as soon as i can (money slows things down).
Do it with Markski very honest person and very conscious with your wallet, besides a great, great job.
