Bought an Evo, and love it! Absolutely a drivers car, insanely fun. Something's got to go though, and it's my beautiful '04 E55 AMG. A totally loaded car and stock TT fast. Please see "For Sale" section for details and more pics.

we have $20k going into our EVO as we speak

these things go from cheap cars to mid-priced cars REALLY quickly.

600 to the ground???? Sounds like the shop doing the work is embelishing the numbers a little.

EVO is better than WRX? I am interested in picking one up as beater/fun throw around car.

Too much testerone going on here.

600hp? Pls. Now 600 reliable horses so that you can actually use it to pass Porsches at the local track? Even less likely cuz you'll be broke down spending time in the barracks.

Now even in stock form the MR is a tight car and can put the hurt on any 911. Surely handles better than any of them stock-for-stock save for perhaps the RS models and maybe even the GT3.

Nice pick-up.

Cheers,

Cheers,
EVO MR is ok for a compact rice rocket, but it does not handle better than a GT2 or GT3, hell, it won't even put a hurt on it. I believe there is only one RS model, the GT3-RS.

Slalom tests and skidpad tests only tell you so much about handling.

Since Paul S goes to the track with our group from time to time, I'll let him report back when he gets a chance to run against the 911's.
