Hey guys, I am in the process of rerouting my F-hose and cleaning up that area a little bit.. Here is where I am stuck at the moment.


THIS PHOTO CONSIST OF THE F-HOSE AND V-HOSE UNDERNEATH..
Q: Take note of circled insert for "number 1"



THIS IS A PHOTO OF WHAT PLUGS INTO THE V-HOSE..also known as "number1"
Q: What is the purpose of this line? Is it vacuum?



THIS IS A PHOTO OF WHERE THE OTHER END OF "number 1" line plugs into..
Q: Purpose of this? If its vacuum, is there a preference to what must be plugged into there?


THIS IS A PHOTO OF WHAT IS ATTACHED TO THE V-HOSE
Q: What is the purpose of the grey box? Is it a solenoid? There are 3 vacuum lines coming out of it I imagine. Top goes to this circular thing, side goes to the top of the Bosches before and the bottom is connected elsewhere. What is the true purpose of this grey box?


Q: Lastly, What is removable and also interchangeable/sharable lines? Thanks for reading through the post. I know with knowledge of how this works I will be able to come up with a solution. Thanks

 

The grey box is the boost solenoid, number 1 is where it vents back into the intake stream when it is active. Other than checking for leaks, I wouldn't mess with it.

 

Thank you for the explanation of that. Does anyone know where the line to the right of the grey solenoid goes to? and what it does?
