Hello everyone. I've been looking around here for a while and finally picked up my dream car... or close to it. I fell in love with the 993 turbo when I was a kid and wanted one ever since. I got a great deal on my 01 and love it. One day I'll get the 993, but till then I'll enjoy this one.

same story here ... i loved the 993tt couldn't find a suitable one and bought a 996tt that i found for a great deal. i've moded it modestly and it's now it keeps a perpetual smile on my face ..... first things first puts some coilovers on.

Yes, it looks stock. The owner said it was a modified stock exhaust. I want to go to a dealer and drive a stock one to see how it sounds. Mine makes a little noise, but not much.



Yep. I want to get some stock wheels powder coated black. The chrome wheels are one of three things I don't like about the car, but the price was too good to pass up.

 

Yeah, well, luckily they are also one of the easiest things to change. As long as the rest of the car is clean, you made a good choice.

 

True. Car is clean, a little wear on the drivers seat, but I expect that from a 9 year old car. The fact that there are two turbos in the back makes all the flaws go away.

I still have my diesel truck for now... I don't think my speed and handling perception will get warped. My truck still brings me back to reality.
