It's not a battery drain issue. It seems to draw next to nothing.

I just wasn't a fan of the display staying on and attracting attention.

I agree that it's a great product as well.

911 RV is infamous around these parts
Ari, mine turns off within 30 seconds only when I remove the ignition key and depress the remote lock to lock the doors. If I turn motor off and leave key in, It stays on a while as well as the dash lights.
Is this the same for you.

From what I read on there web site when the car is turned off it is actually reading the ECU? and storing its information, so could it possibly be with everybody different tunes it takes longer than others to read??? Mine usually takes 15 - 20 minutes. Doesn't bother me, When I park the car for several days I usually unplug it to be safe. FWIW Also anybody here running stock IC's with tune? curious what IAT your running normal conditions say around town?

any one tried to erase the ECU fault memory with the brockway, mine doesn't store any error codes, but when i plug in my durametric i notice that there is a couple of fault codes which are not detected/stored by the brockway.

I'm failing to see the wonderfulness of the Brockway unit.

-The boost gauge isn't useful being digital, small readout, and usually mounted out of line of sight. Why not get a real boost gauge you can actually see with peak hold/memory playback/set warnings?

-The A/F readout is worthless since it's using the stock O2 sensors. You need a wideband unit to give an actual A/F. Once again, digital, small readout, and usually mounted out of line of sight. No pre-programmed A/F lean warning? Why not get an Innovate or AEM with an actual programable gauge?

I could continue, but all the other features including the ones above are neutered versions of a run of the mill OBD2 Port program which can be very useful (and work wirelessly on your iPhone). I keep seeing the advert for one of them on this forum.

brockway's nice cos it detects codes, and allows some codes to be reset on the spot. Can be mounted on top din. Bunch of other parameters which are useful like IAT. ECT is more accurate than the dash gauge. plus it matches interior nicely.

think for most mild modded cars, this is a nice addition.

valid point on boost read out, i installed an analogue seperately.

aren't these cars equiped stock with wideband sensors?

between innovate and AEM, AEM, much easier to install, no periodic calibration, and cumbersome interface.
