wekll i got my new blow off valve sound great . car runs great (still loose tyre grip in 2nd) but my check engine lit came on ... the code sez my left and right air injector are not working. as i remember this only affectes the car on start up. am i right...checked all connections and the seem ok this happened years ago when i changed dvs , it was a split hose ez fix . any ideas ?

Steve one of the sensing line must be disconnected. Some are just under the dv's location so it is easy to disconnect one or damaged one.... Of course I hope you can hear the recirculation pump starting for few minutes after engine start up....

 

could it just be from the new blow off valve?

cleared the computer last nite drove the car abour 50 miles thia am no more check lites

ok well it stayed off sat. and came back on sunday along with my spoiler lite , which seems to be woking fine....so i'm in code heaven....and ge wizzers the car runs el fasto for the 100 degree weather we had this noon..

 

Adjust to blow outside less should solve it.

 

steve, I have the same blow off valve as you since 2008 and on two different 996 turbos. I have never had this issue, Did you plug one of the little plastic air lines that went into the tops of your old oem dvs after you removed them, because you only need one line now.
On a second note I called vivid about my missing horn and they are sending me one, thanks for posting your pics of your install or I still wouldn't have it, I always thought it seemed strange but figured the threading was just for the plug to turn back into full recycling.
