Stay Away From the Seal Grey Tip TT...
Holy ****... Just got done test driving a Seal Grey Tip GT640 and with the new style turbos this thing spools up like a hamster on crack on a wheel. It's so darn fast that in a tip 1st gear is useless with PSM off. 2nd goes all over the road and it settles down into 3rd. Very very fast indeed.
Doing another one this week (a Tip Cab) but after seeing the new style GT640 turbos I feel the need make sure my car is running high high boost... 640 seems underestimated to me. If I had to guess (assuming one could get traction), right now this tip would probably pull a very low 11. Like 11.1 or so.... Good job Tood/Mike/John etc....
I really dig the 640 as it's so easy to get up and running. Some turbos, headers, exhaust, DVs, filter, 5 bar fuel pressure regulator and some software and yer' done.

Which turbos does this package use? Garret Ball Bearing?

The reason none of us really said much is because the size of the compressor wheel did not change for the 640 kit. Only the housing, the housing is a Garrett housing verses the original BW/KKK housing CNCed.
