These upgrades sound similar to what I was thinking based on my research. Sounds like I will just need some advice on which exhaust and ECU flash to go with when I am ready. There are so many options out there. I definitely want an exhaust I won't have to reupgrade again if my tuning bug gets crazier in a few years. I also don't want an extremely loud exhaust that will cause wife disaproval. Probably something that is a little more aggressive sounding than stock. How expensive is the K16/16G upgrade?

Thanks to everyone for the input. I look forward to actively participating on this board and learning more.

Can't go wrong with any of the tuners you see on this forum - including Markski, he's a great guy with lots of experience.

You also have one of the top P-Car performance shops right here in the Bay Area - SharkWerks in Fremont. Alex, James and Dan are a great bunch of guys as well.

Another suggestion is to take a ride in different cars and see which mods you like the best.

I bet you are right about that! I will hopefully connect with a few of the guys in the SF bay area and get to see how their cars perform to give me some guidance. I'm sure I'll get the itch to drop some dough real quick after that.

Hi Eric
When I was 18 a Guy I knew who owned a Franchised Tuning shop with Turbo Technics. He took me out in his 320BHP series 1 Sierra Cosworth and I nearly peed my pants. Seriously, I almost did. My car at the time was a 72 hp Hilman Hunter. 0-60 ha ha top end 90mph.
I think that was the Catalyst for the rest of my life with Cars. Honestly I do. From that day I have never stopped the relentless race for power.
I must have spent a fortune over the years. Has it been worth it. Hell Yes
Frank
Ps
My next mod is to get my Tip box sorted to take more powere, then.........you guesed it.

I have a Europipe stage 2 quiet which is great for mod upgrades and at the same time has no drone and is not loud. It has a very nice sound that is much nicer than stock.
