Help! Clutch pedal just went "hard"

... well, intermittent, but getting worse.

This is on a 2004 X50 with a fairly new GT3RS clutch and LWFW, modded to about 540+hp at the crank. 25k miles.

Pedal is hard on start, and when running sometimes easier, but mostly screwed up/hard. My questions are:
  1. Is this the slave and/or accumulator/something else?
  2. How can I tell/diagnose better the specific problem?
  3. Did I cause the problem?
  4. Are there any guidelines for replacing these parts?
  5. What are the expected costs?
  6. Is this an opportunity to improve the parts?
Thanks in advance everyone!
