You are too modest my friend. Your car is a marvel and a 60-130 freak!!
No one has broken 6s with as few mods as you. You are also an excellent driver (alot better than me I would grudgingly add). You have also done aggressive weight reduction. You have perfectly configured the car, the driving, and the driving course to maximize your yield.

Your car was around 600whp on a Mustang if I recall. That would be alot more on a dynojet. Most guys with full weight cars would need ~725-750whp on a Mustang to get mid 5s, imo.

That's what I was going to point out as well. Improving from a 6.5 down to 6.0 is difficult. From 6.0 to 5.5 is more difficult. From 5.5 -5.0 is very difficult. Improvements become exponentially more difficult the faster you go.

At around 820rwhp in my old car (on 100 octane), I could consistently run 5.1's to 5.2's. It was RWD and weighed around 3300 without me in it. To hit 4.6s and 4.7's, I had to run around 900rwhp.

The last time I weighed my car at the track (yeah I know...not very accurate) it weighed 3330 with me in it, 3150 empty, both weights with 1/4 tank, maybe a smidge less. I agree that is is harder to go faster, the faster you are going, much like the Mile...exponencially more power to gain that extra MPH.

Thank you Mike, but not much to brag about...nice cool night, weight mods, stars aligned... anyone can do it. I;m no pro driver. I'd like to think I can dragrace a bike pretty good, but cars...naahhh not so much...

Mike's (mbailey) car is a very good example of a car that probably is a little heavier, but with way more power.
it gets real hard.. real hard as you come down in time... as a matter of fact it is harder to do it with bigger set ups... and you really have to know what your doing... putting in a different tranny not having to shift is one way... or getting a perfect turbo for the insane 60 to 130 is another... this is what it takes to be on top... and it has a lot more to do then just pure HP... just because someone dynod 1100 or 1200rwhp doesn't mean he will go much faster then the car with 850 rwhp....
these are just some observations I've gathered...

We are getting ready to run our 997 just with a flash, our custom ecu program, exhaust, and ICs... I have a feeling it will blow away any stock turbo 60 to 130s... but like I said above when I was describing your run... it has alot to do with those other things....
best

I'll post pictures of the reason as to why I don't have a built motor yet in a few days (home modifications (well outdoor)) when it's complete. I can't wait to build it though because I think it will really make people say wow when we are finished with it!

My car is a pig, but I refuse to strip anything out of it (minus backseats and AWD). So I'm content with my fat @$$ car LOL!

To be fair, I am not trying to be on top. I just wanted to see how my car stacked up, against other members cars, with similar mods. I guess I am very fortunate to have my car run as good as it does, with what I have. I would have to assume too, that even with a few more mods, my times will not come down much more.

I have seen 997tt's on the dyno, they are very impressive with just a flash.

You are exactly correct. When we officially released the P800 for the 996tt it was 40* outside and sleeting, no 60-130 numbers there.

The owner is an older gentleman who does not own a computer. We have other ones out there but like TT said, most don't care about numbers, it is about the experience. These spool as hard as a VTG setup on a 997tt.

Why does it matter what boost we run the package at anyways, if we say it is safe for use with 93 octane pump fuel (R+M/2) at that power level, you have our word on it and our complete support to back it up. What's next, boost, timing and a/f curves as well as compressor maps and CAD designs of our components?

Autodynamics, send me an email with all of your questions and concerns, I will be glad to help you out.

It might help if you told us what you wanted the car to do and what kind of driving you enjoy.

basing a decision on pure published numbers can be deceiving.... too many variables at play... look at price, quality, availability of the kit, whats included in each one... then look at numbers... heck I can show you a 4.59 sec run 60 to 130 on our 800 hp car but guess what? you will never repeat it... so think outside the box and dont get hung up on numbers only....
just my opinion...

P800 has TialA28. Lower power, better response.
3076 Setup. Little lag. But Monster......
So depend on how would you like.

Correction, Switzer custom aero profile Tial A28's.

Here is a dyno chart of a 30r setup (red) with a very mild race gas tune vs the P800 (blue):

Do you really want to lose 1000rpm in the power band?
