Hi,

I've been a member here for quite a while now. I've been more a lurker with an occasional post. But now I am proud to say that I am now an owner of a beautiful Seal Grey on black '03 996TT.

I bought it from fellow member riverflyer last week and had it in my garage Tuesday night. It has been a long couple of decades dreaming of getting a Porsche and look forward to every moment with it now that I have it.

Here's a quick run down of what sold me on this particular 996TT:

- KW Variant 3 suspension
- Girodisc 350mm rotors
- HRE C21 wheels with black centers
- Switzer exhaust (but currently running stock for getting smog check)
- Switzer headers
- Switzer k16 tune
- EVOMS diverter valves
- EVOMS silicon boost hoses
_ EVOMS Air inlet ducting
- Black interior with red deviated stitching
- Large carbon fiber trim option
- I'm sure I'm missing some items

And of course I have pictures:

wow...very, very nice set up. Love the color. IMO, black out the tail pipes and it'll be complete!

Great looking car, i actually considered buying it.

Only weak point on the car was the 2nd gear pop out issue. I guess try the detent may resolve the small issue.

The wheels are so well suited to the car!

Sweet!!! Great looking turbo. But then again, I'm a bit partial to 03 seal gray on black turbos. Mines just now pushing 68,500 mile. I think its just now getting broken in .

Yep, that's the one. It was a 7+ hr drive home, but it was worth it!

According to the previous owner, 2nd gear hasn't popped-out more than a few times over the last 1.5 years. I have yet to experience it myself at all since I have had the car.

Nonetheless, I was concerned about it and already have the new detent from gbox waiting to be installed. I just have to find the time and good instructions.
