New to the Porsche World!!
New to the Porsche World!!
To make a long story short, I have the best wife ever!
I return from a short deployment to find a 2003 911 Turbo in the garage with only 22,000 miles on it!
It took some work to get her running, I guess the battery is prone to drain itself but once I got her running, WOW!
So what are the basics that I need to know to keep my baby running in top notch condition? I have never owned a Porsche before so basic it is.
Thanks for any advise you can give me!

Congrats man. Do you have service records on the car? I always do a complete fluid change when I buy a car, no matter what the miles. Make sure the service intervals are met, and enjoy.

Yea, she's a keeper! I'll look into the service records. She tells me the dealership did a complete service in May so I'll look into that.
What about batteries going dead, do I need to keep a trickle charger hooked up to her if I don't drive every day? I was impatient and just bought a new battery yesterday so i could drive her around.

Congrats on making it home safely and thank you for going in the first place.
I'm always envious of the "my wife bought me a turbo" stories. I'm not sure my wife would and it would be with my (oops, our) money anyway.
My lovely wife did bless the decision, that's enough for me.
Enjoy your turbo in good health my friend!

Two in fact but I got the best of the bunch, lol!
Still haven't taken any pictures yet but that will change soon!
I still open the garage when I walk by just to gawk at my car. I'm still waiting to wake up from my dream!
