I agree. I thought about the X50 option being a "must have". Once I saw saw the factory and aftermarket options that were on my car, I had to have it even though it wasn't X50 equipped.

Although the previous owner stated that it had popped out of 2nd a few times on him, I jumped anyway. First thing I did was install the upgraded 2nd gear detent and I am happy to say that 2nd gear pop-out has never been an issue for me.

Moral of the story: weight the options, miles, and condition carefully. You can find a great car that is well equipped if you don't have tunnel vision on one particular option.

They actually asked for the option list?

I only answer the questions put to me by an insurer. If a VIN came stock with a certain package, then it is up to the insurer to understand what my loss might be... if they don't ask they are not told...
I did not tell them anything it is in the vin code.
