These wheels are so nice. I believe the pictures posted are lowered on PSS10s. Do we have pics of how these wheels look on an unlowered car? Also, there's a lot of debate on using these wheels on the track. However, are 19's really optimal for the track, or are we debating a topic that is a non-starter for most trackers?

The wheels are suitable for the track with load ratings that exceed the normal standards.

This is a topic that will be discussed over and over again on any sets of wheels that are on the market. If you like them and they fit your budget, go for them!

These wheels look great. They are monoblocks, yes?

However I too would prefer forged, in fact I was leaning towards the COR forged Precision mono blocks for my M3 but they are a bank breaker.

My M3 has only done 2 track days but she has seen 160 plus on many occasions and there are some fabulous S turns in Mexico that I frequent which, when there is no traffic, replicate the conditions and speeds of a road course.

For track use, would you recommend these or 18 inch Forgestar flow formed? Independant of tire choices.
How long for delivery on each?

No these wheels do not need hub-centric rings, the F-14 which is similar in design does require them but no not these... Matte Black are also available.... and are in-stock to ship!

The Avant Garde Ruger Mesh M310 are hub centric and do not require hub rings. The wheels are in-stock and ready to ship immediately. They are low pressure cast, increasing the quality and decreasing the weight when compared to gravity cast wheels. The Avant Garde 310 Wheels are also stronger with a higher load rating than most other low pressure cast wheels on the market today.

The Forgestar F14 18" Flow Form wheels however, are going to be not only lighter, but also stronger. The 18x8.5 F14 wheel weighs an amazingly light 17.6 lbs, where a cast wheel of this same size would weigh anywhere from 23-27 lbs. This saving of roughly 6-10 pounds per wheel makes a BIG difference in regards to handling and drivability. Reducing unsprung weight (weight that is not supported by the car's suspension, i.e wheels, tires, brake rotors, and brake calipers) is one of the easiest ways to improve your car's handling, braking, and acceleration. As a general estimate 1 pound of unsprung weight is equal to 10 pounds of static weight. (weight that is supported by the vehicle's suspension). By using this ratio if you were to replace your stock wheels that weighed 25 lbs with Forgestar wheels you would be saving 320 lbs. in static weight! The Forgestar F14 is a custom wheel and the ETA upon completion is 4-6 weeks upon the date of the order.

Feel free to shoot me over a PM, email me at Alan@ModBargains.com or give me a call here at 714-582-3330 x 8006 if you guys have any quesitons at all!

- Alan
