Help with removing console storage lid

I don't know how to remove this lid and swap it to a new center console, any one have some insight? thanks!

well i figured out to remove the lid, but i'm stuck on the hinge...

thanks I got it, but I was unable to get get the lock nuts since I think they are one time use. So I just used zip ties, worked like a charm

you don't have to use zip ties on anything. What lock nuts are you referring to?

I couldn't remove the hinge, it was locked in by something, so tore the screws/locking nut apart...

the hinge....just tap it out with a nail and hammer from the side without the head

yea i did that, i removed these small locks, but it didn't come out, thus I had to rip it out lol

Hope you didn't waste your money on the Bird armrest for the 996. I did and it's basically useless and doesn't give you any more arm support. The ones made for the 993 work great but not the one for the 996.
