1.3 bar on 93 octane is risky. I would not run morethan 1.0 bar on 93. HP on that car should be close to 650HP.

you can run that kind of bar with less timing. I am sure epl( if it is epl) is running proper timing with that pressure. But datalog records will tell all.

Exactly. It all comes down to the specifics of the tune. I run 1.5 BAR on 93, and 1.6 on 100...and according to my non-stop datalogging, my AFRs are perfect and no timing is being pulled.

Next up; 104 octane at 1.7 and 1.8 BAR.

are you pulling any timing? few degrees? after 104 possible E85?

I'm not 100% sure what you're asking, but I'll try and answer with what I've learned so far.

My tune isn't running much timing as is. But if you're asking if my ECU is pulling any more timing at high boost; no. It's the same at 1.5 BAR on 93 as it is at 1.2 BAR. Above 1.55 BAR, it does start to pull timing on 93, so I run 100 octane above that.

At around 1.65 BAR on 100, it starts to pull timing on 100, so I need better fuel to run beyond that. That's the maximum boost I've run so far, so I still have some more datalogging to do once I get some better fuel.

As much as I'd like to run E85, it just isn't common enough in my area yet to make it worthwhile for me.

The numbers can be up or down depending so many factors... lest just hope its somewhere in the middle... where they should be... a proper install is one of them...

What do you use to log the timing?
