negative ghost rider, you can put any of these mods on and be safe steve now how much power they will give with k16's versus big turbos now thats a different story. Bigger turbos will benefit much more from these kind of mods then small ones..

No such thing as "too much air". Less restriction is less restriction...period. It's just a mod that isn't as noticeable as it is with bigger turbos...

there is a .5" diameter lip in the y pipe that you would cure which has to be worth something. look at Speed techs photos john has a great picture of it.

its always good to replace the weakest link in the chain and improve flow the question becomes then how much difference would you see at your CFM level. i would expect a difference but is it a 1600$ difference to you?

also remember that Boost is a measure of restriction so in fact after you clear up the restrictive intake pieces you might see a drop in your boost # a little bit but that doesn't mean your cfm(cubic feet per min of air) drops. this assuming you have no known leaks.

the plenum/TB mod made big improvements for me. I have a customer who gained another 5% of HP by adding our Y pipe along with the Plenum and TB he already had.

Im doing this mod with a rear intake pipe upgrade. I want to get some good IC's and then do the Y-pipe I think that should free up all the restrictions.

Sounds like it only fits well if you change the Y pipe too, but if you had to choose between the Y pipe and the Agency Race Plenum which would you go for and what are the relative labor costs for installing each independently ?

I am happy with how mine fits with the factory y-pipe. Secure and bolted.

This is one of those . . if you have done everything else mods . . ..

The y-pipe would be much easier to do, taking out the y-pipe is simple compared to the TB.

no maybe remove bumper if you cant get the intercooler hose clamps on.

now if your talking about a Blow through MAF with fender well intakes and removing the stock inlet tubes you might have to drop it to get them out. some people have had luck cutting them without removing the motor though.
