Agency Power Race Plenum Throttle Body

What do you Guys think of the Agency Power Race Plenum ? Look's like fitting time is relatively short ? Performance differences ?

I like mine. It moved the spool of my k24/18g about 150 rpms lower.

Fitting is a bit time consuming, but basically easy. Drop your engine off the mounts, take out the old, put in the new. Do a boost leak test after EACH part is installed to make sure you did not bump/disconnect any lines.

It will sit about 3/8 inch further back, so you can only use the middle bolt to secure the y-pipe, but I feel the y-pipe is plenty secure with that.

Here is how mine sits, installed.

Dunno, I just pulled it out and replaced. It is a straight forward procedure, but you are messing with about 15 different vacuum / pressure connections and it is easy to get a leak.

Took me about 6 hours over a few nights. I could had it done much faster, but I did not boost leak test after several steps, and ended up with 3 leaks, and had to take it all apart again .. . twice.

I am curious to know what the advantage of this unit is compared to the RSS plenum which is only "about" $200 more. Looks very similar to the stock design where as the RSS plenum has a "Y" design..... The Agency power unit come with a TB so that looks like a nice advantage over the RSS unit.

We need to see these two units go head to head!

RSS plenum and this aren't the same. The RSS is just a plenum, this is an upgraded throttle body and plenum. You'd have to compare RSS + throttle body to get the delta. So, say 400 for TB, 900 for Plenum, you're more around $600 price differential.

I did the TB/Plenum and noticed faster spool, and some power, then added Y pipe and IC,s which was more noticable, everything fits fine now.

Which company made each of your products....TB/Plenum, Y-pipe and ICs? Any pics? Which turbos do you have?

Steve these products discussed here are not affected by air box or turbos these are behind the throttle body.

The object of these products is to increase airflow bigger throttle body flows more air then the smaller one at the same throttle posistion, also you could see a spool increase if the throttle body was a large restriction in your intake tract.

If you upgrade the y pipe infront of the throttle body you remove a nice air restriction also.
