Bought a GT2!
So I finally found one in Scottsdale, Arizona! 2003 Seal gray gt2 w/ full carbon package w/ only 1800 miles. The original owner wasn’t active on any forums but just bought the car to drive when he was at his winter home. I watched it for sale for over a year and he recently lowered the price so I got a pretty good deal on it. It was serviced every year Porsche North Scottsdale doing the regular maintenance. I felt bad taking the car off his hands knowing he only got to enjoy the car for 1800 miles!! I’ve had it to for almost 2 months now and I’ve put 500 miles it. I would have posted earlier but have been really busy with work. I’d like to thank Divexxtreme for being patient and answering all my questions.
Pilot transportation shipped it from Scottsdale all the way to Pittsburgh for actually a really good price. But when I received the car the front lip was scuffed bad on each side, I was pretty p#@sed but they took care of it. The driver said this is the lowest Porsche he’s ever delivered haha and not even the Ferraris are this low.. The new lip spoiler was $259 plus tax so wasn’t too bad. The only problem is it doesn’t fit totally right, the sides kind of stick out from the bumper, it just clips in and has one screw in each fender.
Feels good to finally have a P car and esp. one I’ve wanted for a long time. Mod wise I’m probably going to do a Giac tune from Awe, fvd straight pipes (I know they’re stupid loud but I don’t drive this car much and my previous car had them), dvs, Nitto nt01s, and DAS sport roll bar for now. I was thinking about doing 18gs and 5 bar from 911tuning.com w/ proto tune but I don’t know yet, I don’t wanna replace the clutch even though I’m sure a basic tune will require one in the future. I’m going to join the PCA and do some of the track events at Beaver Run Motorsport Complex. I’m excited guys thanks for all you help and input on this forum !

Truck couldn't make it up my road so they delivered by my local movie theater

You now own one of the rarest, most raw, "never to be built again" cars available. It's not perfect, but that's what makes it so much fun. Drive it around stock for a while before you start adjusting things. It will give you a better feel for what mods you might think you want but not really need. Two things: 1. When pushed, it can get a little (a lot) twichy. 2. With only 1800 miles, the tires might be original factory and a liitle old. Mine had 1890 miles when I bought it in '09 and had the original PS1's. Good luck. Feel free to PM with any questions.
Wow, 1800 miles? Glad the first owner kept it in such pristine shape for you. Great color combo for sure. Seems like you are already enjoying it to the fullest. Thanks for sharing the pics!!
