Rotec website infected with virus?
Just went to their website and looks like it has been hacked maybe? It tried to run some "virus scanning software" automatically.....Have I missed a few days and this is old news?
I can't stay on there long enough to get their phone number or email address....anyone know what's going on?

You can reach me by PM or email info@rotteccarbon.com!
I experienced that issue yesterday when I went to Rottec site.
The issue was more like a pop-up than a virus (even though it said that there was a virus on my iPhone - untrue).
The remedy was I just closed the window that was running the "virus scan" and I was at your site. No problem.

it's not the site, the virus gets into the system then picks a time when it activates...i've delt with this bugger a few times and it's a pain to get rid of....basically what you do is at the first sign of it, hit ctrl+alt+delete to bring up the task manager, go to processes and shut the one down that is a bunch of letters that make no sense.
download CCleaner and install, reboot in safe mode
open CCleaner and go to the startup tab and it will show you the file name and path of that random letter .exe that is the virus, navigate to that folder and delete the file.
now resart the computer, download MSE (microsoft security essentials) and run that, it will find the 'rest' of the virus and get rid of it.
