996tt europipe

Hi all. I'm looking at a europipe exhaust for my no mod 996tt cab. I'd like to hear it in person first and live in CT right outside NYC. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Tony

I live in Seattle so you can't hear - but you won't regret going w/ EP. Most everyone is envious of my exhaust, and no drone.

I have the EP Gen 2 Quiet, and it's awesome. Love it on and off throttle. Can hear the turbos up and down. It's a scream at WOT.

I'm thinking of getting the loud version - does yours sound much different from stock and what do you think about the loud version. Thanks.

I have a cab X50. Don't go LOUD. I was talked into the QUIET by both Stef and Kevin. They were right.

At first, I was bummed as I thought I made a mistake buying the QUIET, but they said wait a 1k miles.

At about 700, it opened up beautifully. Now, it's perfect. I wouldn't go LOUD - that would be insane. You hear plenty after it breaks in. I've already had a cop pull me over because he "heard" me going fast ... LOL.

Like I said, I can hear everything I want. Spools up and down, plus the most cool off-throttle gurgle you can imagine. The exahust along with Kevin's waste gate actuator kit really reduced the lag on the K24s. Add in the tune and it's a rocket.

Go with the QUIET. It really quite loud at the track and everywhere else after the break in period. Still no drone either. That's the upside to buying quality.

I have the Loud and can't recommend it highly enough. I do not think its too loud all. I can always carry on a conversation in the cabin just fine, and you can't beat the growl and turbo spool from a Loud with 100 cell cats. The Loud has better breathing, 70mm vs 60mm in the Quiet (stock is 60mm pipe size also). So, I absolutely encourage you to get the EP Loud. I will admit I have not heard the Quite in person, but I feel like anything less than the Loud would leave me wanting more. Regardless with EP, you will not regret it; it sounds SO SO SO much better than stock.

I believe that Loud and quite STAGE 2 are both the same in terms of back pressure, pipe, etc.

Remember that the OP has a CAB, not a coupe like you and I!

So Stage 2 Loud and Quiet are 70mm, but thier Stage 1 is 60mm, right? I have been trying to trade my EP oval tips for the dual tip style tip. My stock dual tips dont' fit the EP, and I was pretty sure Stef told me that I couldn't trade with someone with the dual style tips on the Quiet b/c they were 60mm. Maybe I misunderstood, and it was the Stage 1 that is 60mm.

Anyway, I'm still looking for 70mm Dual Tips if anyone has the for sale or trade.

Stage 2 (both Q and L) has the same size piping through the system, and the same performance-

HOWEVER, the issue of the tip interconnection may be 60mm on the quiet or not- dunno.

I also do know the Stage 1 is 60mm and is not the same power (more backpressure) than both of the stage 2 versions.
