the first video the stock m5 was up against an X50 tuned. I didn't expect the result. I would think that if it was tuned it would have beaten the M5, but maybe the tune is an off the shelf one that hardly pumps up the hp.

the second one is also a little hard to believe. Hybrid turbos with a good tune against a tuned, intake, exhaust M5. The turbo should have won this one as well.
You know, this is what makes me think that maybe I'm wrong and my test drive in the M6 was a little biased.....but I honestly think that until 130/150 my TT feels faster, pulls stronger.

Anyhow, it's only a matter of time before I put on some good turbos....so I will not care anymore about my bud's M car...

I'd like to run the M6 and take some 60-130 before I swap the turbos though...

That's for sure! Notice Adam's "garage list" signature is different from the one he uses on the M5 board...

A

Wait, I have an M5 and I don't have an overinflated impression of it's place in the food chain. it will totally get stomped by most of the tuned turbos in my area. But I do love that car. The quality of the interior and exterior is just so much nicer than the AMG's I was looking at.

TT with a flash is going to feel stronger, you have a ton of torq, owning an m3 and an m6 id tell you they are about even until 100mph then the m6 runs away, with the TT, the p-car will (stock) pull harder but the v10 (once up to speed which is around 110-120) will start to come up and leave the turbo, but if its flashed i dont see a stock m6 going anywhere

and thats from an owner of both cars in question here

My tt barely pulled on my buddies m6 on a couple of runs from about 50-150. It was an undeniable win, but I had installed lighter wheels, lowered suspension, no cat 70mm exhaust, intake, y pipe, BOV, and EPL tune.

All he had to do was buy the car as-is with balded old tires.

I really love the m6 and hope to pick up a lesser 6 series as a daily.

Here is a no nonsense couple runs many many moons ago when the 996tt was stock lowered with 19's vs a light modded 2 passenger 2007 m5.
We both love to go, and its as real as will be...
