Help

Hi there, I'm a newcomer to these cars, so dont flame me I put my exhaust on the car last night (911 tuning, sounds incredible!) However i didnt get to enjoy it that long. Everything was running great until I did a quick acceleration run on the freeway. Right when I let off the gas I heard a huge bang out of the back end of the car. Initially i just thought it was a backfire, but the car gave a CEL almost immediately and wouldn't let me give it any throttle. I was about 1/4 mile from my house so i just limped it home (mostly neutral rolling). After i parked i checked behind the car, and under the right intercooler, close to the turbo, a black hose looked like it had popped off. What's the best route to go when this happens?

Just reinstall the hose with the special clip (item #9 on the picture) and do not forget there is also a o-ring on the pipe. It was probably badly installed. The only thing I am not sure about, if you don't have access to a Durametric or a PIWIS, I am not sure how to reset the cell light. May be if you disconnect the battery for more than 10 seconds and reconnect, this type of messages can be erased.... Of course you will need your radio code after power off....

Thank you very much for your help! Where can I buy the parts? I can get access to something to reset the cel so that it not a problem.

We are far from the maritime area but we had 40 to 60 km/hr wind.... Which is not bad compare to what they had in south Carolina...

If you took off the hoses to get to the exhaust, you may have not clipped the hoses on back correctly....
