Got my new ROTtec parts, rear add on wing and front spoiler, added a ABS splitter to the front maybe a little more down force, but I thought it might protect the carbon piece a bit.

 

I've ripped a few of those splitters.. good luck. Nice looking wing.., any more pics of the ***?

 

I'll try to get some good ones tomorrow, I was hoping the ABS would help keep the front spoiler from getting ripped.

 

what ABS splitter did you put on? would it fit a stock lip?

 

No it's just one that I made out 1/4" ABS just drew it out myself, the ROTtec piece has a nice flat 1" role under that made it easy to attach to with 10 stainless screws so it can be easily replaced.

That lip looks very good. I am considering this same lip, so I am interested to see how the lip holds up with the ABS splitter.

 

yeah, i think you put the abs bits on wrong.

I had one of these lips and had the plastic skid plates fitted flush to the lips edge, they did the job without looking like i kept the plastic wrap on my pillow cases (lols).

I would rec using FLAT headed screws that are sunk into the plastic skidplate. I used rounded heads and the whole thing got caught on some road repair steel plates the city put down to cover some open trenches...ripped my lip and bumper clean...

 

I used stainless sex bolts which are very flush on the bottom. The top has a hard rubber washer to cushion the carbon fiber

I scraped it today worked great! without the splitter it would have frayed the carbon for sure.

 

I have the same lip, smack it a lot, Rays lip is designed to take a bit of a beating and it holds up great. No need for the ABS plastic, I have had my lip for over 2 years and it still looks great.

 

Its a great piece, I just wanted more of the gt3 look out of it, Your car was the reason I went with Rays stuff. Those beautiful pics from the D2Forged wheels post

 

You know what we chinese do... we spend thousands of dollars for a sofa, but cover it with clear plastic wrap so it won't get dirty or damage.

I have the same lips from Ray, but the ABS plastic just doesn't go with it. I like the tail wing a lot.
