I spoke to Fabspeed today when ordering my new exhaust. There are no "cones" to speak of. Only adjustment can be made is changing out from muffler to race pipes, etc. since the cat is a modular unit separate from the muffler. Stock unit has integral cats.

I ordered the moderate sport unit. They said I may have by Wednesday. Can't wait.

I also talked to Fabspeed today and he told me they have 'cones' for reducing sound. But I need to cut the exhaust to install it. so I just decided to stay like this.

After driving few hundred miles, sound was reduced a bit or its just a feeling. also sound got much better than when I first installed it. good broom~ sound.

You won't regret that you bought Fabspeed moderate version.

It rocks~

Thats odd because they sold the cones to my exhaust installer and he welded them in. No cutting involved. It did reduce the noise but not the resonance. I was told that you can add two sets of cones to reduce loudness. One set on the inlet to the exhaust and one set on the outlet side. Not sure what it does to power if anyhting. Maybe someone will install them and do a dyno run? Lots of luck to you and enjoy your exhaust.
