Switching to Catless

i have a speedart 100 cell exhaust system with Headers, any ideas if any of the vendors that advertise here in the forum would have a catbypass pipe that is compatible with the speedart system? (replace the Cats with test pipes or bypass pipes)

racegate is infamous around these parts
On that note.. are there any bolt-on cat bypass pipes for the stock exhaust?

Jalmood,

We could fabricate something, if you sent your cats in to us.

jalmood,

We would use them for the measurements only and return them with the new cat bypass pipes.

Unfortunately, it's not that easy for the stock exhaust. The Speedart has separate cats. It is modular system in that it has distinctly separate cats from the rest of the system. The OEM exhaust is one piece with the cats being part of the exhaust. The cats are not removable on the stock exhaust, but are on the Speedart.

John I hadn't looked closely at the stocker...that makes sense. I guess it will have to be a custom job to eliminate the cats on the stock exhaust.

Yes, they can be drilled out. There are two cats on each side. It will take a little work, but can be done.
