Congrats Scott! You are owning almost all of the daily drivable supercars in the book. Enjoy it! Looking forward to the modding process.

There was a GTR at the track last Thursday that had semi-slicks, BBS rims, engine work and RIDICULOUSLY large brembo carbon brakes. He was flying!

Even the CC (I believe they are AP rotors with brembo calipers) brakes are about the same as factory size.

They come with 15" rotors front and rear, and the 2012's are getting even larger ones.

No major plans at this point. Maybe mid-pipe, muffler and tune. Or maybe no tune at all. Not sure yet.
We have a strange similarity in taste of car's, mods and purchasing moves I actually want to add a GTR along side of my GT2 as well, for daily purposes.

Congrats Scott, can't wait to see what you'll do with it!

traitor

congrats on the new performance car. I like the fact that you have had a chance to own and compare the other two long running performance cars like ZO6 and now GTR. I predict it will last a year before you move it.

I think given you straight line interest, a GTR is a good choice. So is a 997T PDK of course but they are still high in resale value.

GTR was the most non-driver engaging car I have ever driven, I felt like the in car view in grand turismo, good luck with the car, its just not for me (but you have the ultimate drivers car already, i just couldn't get past the numb and no fun feeling)

I think that's why I'm attracted to it. As fun as my GT2 is, you really have to be in the mood to drive a 700+ rwhp GT2. Although it's quite thrilling, it requires your full attention and focus. Sometimes I just want to step on the gas and go fast, with as little drama as possible. Hence the GT-R.
