Should I have the High Flow cats pipe made?
Pretty vague question...
Is it for a modular exhaust?
Are you going to cut out and weld it on the OEM?
Is your car a daily?
Any other mods?
Has your ECU been flashed?
Is it a daily driver?
Do you mind the occasional smell of burning gas?
What kind of HP are you putting down?
Any goals?
Any problems with what you have?
DO you have emissions tests where you are? Visual / Sniffer?
What Cell count do you consider "high-flow" 300 / 200 / 100?
Any reason you dont buy one from your exhaust manufacturer?

OEM will be scrapped. I just bought the 996tt Saturday and it's stock, it's too slow and too quiet.
My first step is the exhaust. My commute to work is 20 feet, so this will be my daily driver, when I want to go somewhere. Eventually I plan on having it built to run low 10's. This isn't my first toy, just my first Porsche.
I have emissions, but since it was just done Saturday, I don't have to worry about it for 2 more years.
100 cell and check engine light would come on, until I did the computer upgrade, 200 cell no issues.
I cant think of any reason to have it built besides not liking the idea of paying 2k for a part that can be easily built for under 1k.

why run cats... dont run them and do a cool sounding exhaust...

Not running cats is an option. The exhaust outlet turbo flanges are $40, SS piping $100, and a few hours of labor.
It's hard to tell on sound clips the difference in sound. Even though I'm sure the "no cats" is louder. Just don't know how loud.

It's really not a huge difference in sound. I gutted my old 200 cells without really noticing more sound. It did change the tone though.
Now I run 100 cells on a speedtech system. I might eliminate them too. I don't have emissions tests. If you have the know-how, I say take the money you would spend on an exhaust and build one with no cats at all and spend a grand on EPL tuning.
Your "too slow and too quiet problems" could be gone!

wow awesome. Did you make those yourself or have someone do it for you? Cost? Can we get a video with the sound, inside the cabin while driving, and outside the car with a drive by? Pretty please!: ) Did you get a new tune to go along with them?
