305/30/19 & 235/35/19

Can I run these sizes without any problems? Would I get any kind of check engine light or throw the PSM off?

Thanks

Not a good idea if you are running AWD. The suggested 19" tire size is 235/35/19 & 315/25/19. A few folks have run 225/35/19 & 305/25/19. You'll need to check the tire specs and Rev's Per Mile to make sure they are within tolerance.

Here's an example when the ratio was out of range

You may also run 225/40/19 and 295/30/19 or 305/30/19. I have run this size for 4 years without any problems.

This has been covered many times

In the thread that is posted above... if you read the entire thing there are numerous mentions that it is crucial to check the actual tire diameter and revolutions which you can find at tire rack or on the spec sheet of the manufacture.

It is not safe to assume that a size works when different manufactures have different specs for their tires. This is the only way to be sure. I would not overlook this simple task that takes 5 minutes to complete... its just not worth it.

Best of luck,
Bryan

Not sure if anybody have noticed but 315 25 r19 tires are getting harder to find! Tire rack only sells one tire in that size now and it's on closeout

Available alternatives include Toyo T1R and Falken FK452 in both front & rear sizes.

check Treadepot.com lots there and cheaper than Tire Rack... 315/25/19 can be found in Toyo, Michelin, Continental, Falken, Nitto and Yokohama's

but i have switched to Pirelli P-Zero Rosso 305/25/19 & 225/35/19 now, from Toyo T1R's 315/25/19 & 235/35/19

Won't be long before you need replacements again, I think the Pirellis were the highest wear of any tire I've tried (besides a Goodyear integrity on my truck!). Not many supporters on here of the Pirelli; how have you found them in use?

I have been doing the same search.
Toyo T1R $1150 (tires direct)
Nitto invo $1050 (ebay)
yoko avan sport $1370 plus shipping (and tax in calif) (onlinetires.com)

Even after spending hours looking at posts, having trouble deciding. Leaning toward yoko's, but trying to find them for less.

All depends on which manufacturer and what tire. I've been shopping around and comparing sizes. Overall diameter (also rotations per minute is helpful) is key when comparing front and rear tires - you need to keep it as close as possible.

I have same set that I have not put on yet. So you are running 235/35-305/30/19 and no issues at all?
