Looking for Opinions.....

In the market again and found a promising car locally.

2004 996TT Cab
seal gray/black interior
24k miles
Tiptronic
HRE wheels with new Pilot Sports
PSS10s
rear windscreen
Navi
Built in Passport radar
XM Satellite
Clear sides
3 owners, current guy owns a Goodyear auto service shop and has driven 2k miles in 2 years
Doesn't appear to have any paintwork, eveything is in very good condition, and I would do a PPI at RUF before pulling the trigger

What price should I be considering? Also, I've only had 6 speeds in the past, but I think I might enjoy this car on a more daily basis (and get spousal buy in) with a tip. How much of a price variance is there from manual to tip? Does it get boring? The IMS rattle is significantly less on this one than on my 01 coupe, that's for sure. Are there any things specific to the tip that would be different issues for the manual? At least I wouldn't have to worry about overrevs and the stupid clutch slave failure.

Hit me with your thoughts - price and whether tip is liveable in a car like this. I'm not a racer if that makes any difference - I'm really just a poser who loves Porsches.

TIA -

Todd

Another Todd with a tip in Texas?

Actually, an automatic cab is a good idea. I assume you don't want BIG power.
