the right side of the rear subframe is warped. the area where the adjustments for alignment is done, is warped. the moment the car hits a bump, it goes out of wack.

what are my options ?
whats the price of a new one ?
is there an aftermarket alternative ?
does anyone have one laying around ?

Steve,

Your car has probably been in an accident or been damaged somehow - how did it get warped? I also have an '02 with 105,000 miles. It has PSS-9's set to GT2 specs, which were installed at 5,000 miles. It has only been aligned twice since I purchased it new (when the PSS-9's were installed and again 2 years ago at about 80,000 miles. It has always driven perfectly straight with zero issues no odd tire wear. IMO, what you are describing is not normal. I am curious how that happened.

Steve has the solid upper rear control arms and the car had some bent parts when he bought the car. Steve also leaves out the fact that he should be a test driver for third party durability testing.. Haha... Steve, I ordered the video Vbox get ready to make some 60-130's and videos of closed course driving.. With professional drivers!

I agree with John,it's some issue with yuor car.Mine is "salvage",hit on right rear wheel.I corrected the chasis, bought all right side suspension new and, nock on wood, the car is perfect.I've have alligned few times because i take her to road tracking and the car behaves very well.

Agree with John...your car may have had some complex issues. I'd get a serious shop to look at it from a body/crash point of view. I have only done alignment once in 3 years, when I put suspension on and corner balanced. The car has had DE's and DD's often...not issues.

Good luck.

i never had a problem like this with any of the other cars ive owned
and i beat the absolute **** out of each and every one of them.

i thought the engine would give me serious problems, but its always been suspension related...
