how much lower is the gt2 ride height than the stock turbo?
I know if you set the pss9's to gt2 height there are issues...so what is the maximum lowering you can do with pss9's and not have the bump stop issue?

stock turbo 158mm and 163mm

GT2 118mm and 133mm

X73 128mm and 133mm

Scott's(stephsguy) RUF PSS9 suspension was set way too low before entering my shop at 103mm front and still had plenty of travel
I set it to 111mm fr and 125mm rear and purposely checked the travel to avoid any problems

When I had the regular PSS9's in my car roughly a year ago my front ride height was set to 118mm and I had very little travel

There is no doubt in my mind RUF reworks these to their specs and takes lowered cars into consideration

Hope this helps

bucking is infamous around these parts
Pippin- That makes sense. I have appreciated Ruf's suspension systems for many years. I also have a 91 C2 turbo in BTR specs with his full suspension. The suspension has been on the car 10 years and the car is just one of the sweetest cars I've ever driven. I've also spent time in one of Ruf's 993 derived turbos in Germany. I always thought that car seemed to handle better and yet be less harsh than the factory Porsche set up. I know that is the case with my 91. As far as using Ruf Auto Centre to install the system, that's probably a good idea. After all, they are Ruf's US representative. I would be shocked if you weren't pleased with the final product. Bottom line: With Ruf, you pay top dollar but you get what you're promised. Aloise is dedicated to Porsche cars: Visit his shop and you'll know what I mean. Good luck, have fun with your car. If you're going to modify it, do it with proven components developed and installed by people who know what they're doing. Such as Ruf.
