Going up against gt3 tomorrow, any pointers? As far as i see it,as long as I get first gear down right and into second it should be no problem.Would appreciate any input, even the obvious. Thanks in advance.

If your TT is stock, you may have a problem, depending how long the race is....

It should be a close race...the GT3 will hook up before the TT

It will be close, I say it will come down to driver skill. It will depend how fast you get traction with the TT off the line...

I believe awd would allow the TT to hook up a lil' easier actually.

The bigger problem with the TT is bogging the engine or burning the clutch. I've gotten the best starts with 3500-4000 rpms and slipping clutch as you slowly add throttle. A few practice starts before the race may make a world of difference in your outcome.
I hope you will let us know how it turns out.

I think the Gt3 will beat you. The awd system is tough to launch well and just take such a beating. A rear wheel drive its nice and easy to launch and when you look traction you just let up off the gas alittle. My supra would kill evos in a drag race all day long, they jumped right off the line but I blew by them as soon as I went into 2nd gear. Alittle tip is to start letting the clutch out and start creeping up so you have the momentum coming off the line.

Go from a roll...why beat the clutch on either car? Plus, it eliminates some driver advantage.

From a roll make sure you prime the turbos, turn off AC, turn off PSM, see you later!

Turn off PSM, 4500RPM and ride out the clutch - do not dump.

I hope you didn't put money on it, because GT3's are deceptively fast. From 0-80 or so it is dead even with a GT2 with a soft launch.
