I hope to be there some day.
Yes they have I believe 2 M5 ring taxis ,they also have a Nissan GTR and a few other cars,I drive to the ring maybe 10 times a year ( only 150 miles for me) very spectacular to watch and to drive but a very dangerous track.
You track your 996tt at nurburgring ? do you have her modded? if so,how do feel your car in that track? must be exiting¡¡
I think the 996 turbo is a good track car,I have Bilstein PSS10 and K16/24,better IC's but the most difficult is to learn the track because it's so long and it's to dangerous to go really fast, that's why I bought a Renault Megane 250 RS cup to learn the track and it's less expensive if something goes wrong. Some say you need to do 500 laps before you know the circuit....

Renaults are great cars,i used to track a Clio Sport 2.0l ,very sured, stable at tight turns.I really liked her but blew the engine and the parts are too expensive down here so,i sold her and bought a Honda Civic... they are much cheaper to race, parts, hour mechanic, everything is cheaper. We have only one track and go to Guatemala, country next to mine, and track there also. Both tracks are super easy if you compare them to the Ring. You need 5 laps to know the circuits here
..they're difficult for us but no way to compare to european tracks.
It is dangerous because you don't have visibility, the track goes a lot up and down and I don't like do drive uphill at 150 miles and not knowing what turn there is behind it.And if you miss a turn you'll hit a wall ,there is no place to make a slide...
Thanks dixie and good luck when driving at the RING,very special track.
