I have owned a number of 911's, but am looking at closing a deal on my first 996TT. I searched and searched the posts, but I can't find the actual list.

I am considering whether to do a leakdown or compression test.

I just had a 140 point inspection done on a 996tt that I'm buying... also had them do the ECU scan thingy that tells you if the car has ever had any over-revs or anything like that... The PPI was $180, and the ecu scan was $75.

This was all done by a dealer though... very knowledgeable guy, their lead Porsche service manager (This was in Indianapolis, IN)...
