Sqeaking noise

I just developed a squeaking noise at the back somewhere. Out of the blue. I can hear it when driving - faint but there. If I go out the car and I rock the car at the engine side up and down I can here the squeak from under the car somewhere. It is tinny. Like a bird whistling. And to top it all up it comes then goes away then comes back. Its a spring sound, but sounds to tinny to be main coil-overs. Can linkages squeak or some rubber bushes gone bad? Anyone had this?

I haven't had this, but lot of stuff that could do that. Sway bar/links would probably be the first place I would look. The sways have two bushings that hold it to the lower cross bar. May shoot some WD-40 on them and see if that helps.

I have noticed a random squeak in the back interior as well as one in the dash, has anyone come across this?

if you hear it from the back of the motor, might be belt or pulley. if its a constant bird chirping sound coming from front of the motor (closer to interior) you most likely pushed out your head gasket. take a look under the car, passenger side between head and cylinders on the back side that faces the big oil tank. if you hear the sound when turning or going over bumps its most likely the rear sway bar bushings.

The twisting of my car going up the driveway (and other road conditions) at an angle caused the rear window area to squeak.

I bought a rear strut bar and it solved the problem.

I'll look at that but it seems like interior trim or leather. Could that be the end result of the sway bar?
